An odd sound: i set pocket recorder out hoping to capture some birdsong; a raven swooped down and made a couple of passes above it. Perhaps he was attracted by the colorful fuzzy windscreen? at any rate: recorded on an olympus ls-14, some wind in the trees in the background.

Third test sample using 2 ntg3's for seperate left and right audio channels. Recorded using fostex fr2-le, mogami neglex quad xlr cables. Aircraft were about 10-20ft about microphones.

A boeing airplane taking off on november 12 from fort myers airport to columbus ohio. I thought this would be a good recording for freesound, so i thought i'd upload it. Into an air france boeing 777-300 er, between reunion island and paris. We can ear people talking and moving into the plane. At about 1’20’’ the engines slow down. Recorded on 2018/08/16 at 11h25 with an olympus ls100, flat.

Recording a stream in jardim gulbenkian, lisbon. It's a beautiful and tranquil park in central lisbon that happens to be under a flight path, so the ambience is regularly interrupted by the sound of planes landing/ taking-off.

Outside my house recording of a helicopter that was circling overhead; not directly, but at an oblique angle - maybe a mile away or so. You can hear some birds and other ambient neighborhood sounds as the helicopter circles overhead a few times.

Synthetic helicopter sound looped wav.

This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.
